Position: HIS Support Specialist

Location: Jeddah & Taif, Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: 2 month contractor (On-Site), Extendable.

Role Overview

The HIS Support Specialist will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical and functional support for the Hospital Information System (HIS). The successful candidate will work closely with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to ensure smooth system operations and a high level of user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical and functional support for HIS users.

* Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, incidents, and user inquiries.

* Log, track, and follow up on support tickets until resolution.

* Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams or vendors when required.

* Configure and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.

* Assist with system updates, testing, and deployment of new functionalities.

* Maintain documentation for processes, known issues, and resolutions.

* Deliver basic user training and support sessions.

* Gather user feedback and contribute to system improvement initiatives.

* Coordinate with implementation and IT teams to ensure system stability and performance.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Health Sciences, Health Informatics, Medical Background ,or a related field.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Experience in technical support and troubleshooting of HIS or similar healthcare/enterprise applications.

* Excellent customer support and communication skills.

* Ability to effectively interact with clinical, administrative, and technical stakeholders.

* Familiarity with hospital workflows, medical terminology, or healthcare information systems is highly preferred.

* Willingness to work on-site in Jeddah and Taif.
