Company Description Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU) in Dammam has evolved from its origins as a branch of King Faisal University in 1975 into an independent and prominent academic institution. Role Description This is a full-time on-site Programmer role based at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in Dammam. The Programmer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and back-end web solutions that support university operations, academic services, and administrative systems. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, writing clean and efficient code, implementing object-oriented designs, and integrating systems and databases. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, optimizing performance, ensuring data security and reliability, and documenting code and processes. The Programmer is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of existing systems and support future digital initiatives across the university.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Programming.
• Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Back-End Web Development.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and practices.
• Relevant experience with common programming languages (such as Java, C#, Python, or similar) and relational databases.
• Ability to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and follow secure coding standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are an asset.
• Experience in academic or large institutional environments and familiarity with enterprise systems is beneficial.
