Role Description The Commercial Drone Pilot - GACARs 107 is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh.

The role involves operating(UAS) in compliance with GACARs Part 107 regulations for a range of commercial applications primarily - Facade Cleaning, inspections, surveys, mapping, monitoring, and aerial imagery.

Day-to-day tasks include planning flight missions, conducting pre-flight and post-flight checks, ensuring airspace and operational safety, and maintaining detailed flight logs and reports.

The role also includes basic drone maintenance, battery and equipment management, and collaboration with project teams to capture required data and deliver high-quality outputs. The Commercial Drone Pilot is expected to stay up to date with regulatory changes, company procedures, and best practices in drone operations.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid GACARs Part 107 (or equivalent) commercial drone pilot certification and thorough understanding of aviation safety regulations.
• Demonstrated skills in drone flight operations, including mission planning, manual and automated flight control, and safe navigation in various environments.
• Experience with aerial data capture and basic processing, such as photography, videography, mapping, or inspection workflows using UAVs.
• Ability to perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance on drones, sensors, batteries, and related ground control systems.
• Strong situational awareness, risk assessment capabilities, and adherence to safety protocols in field operations.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders on-site.
• Basic proficiency with relevant software tools (e.g., flight planning apps, mapping or imaging software) and willingness to learn new platforms.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or degree in aviation, engineering, geospatial sciences, or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience in commercial drone operations, fieldwork, or related industries (e.g., construction, utilities, security, agriculture) is beneficial.
