Job Brief:

We are searching for a dependable Electrical Engineer to work in the Technical Team with minimum 10 years of experience to join our company.

The Technical Electrical Engineer will act as the discipline authority for all electrical engineering matters on a mega high‑rise development consisting of 3 towers.

This role is responsible for technical governance, design control, and engineering leadership, ensuring all electrical systems are delivered in full compliance with project requirements, authority standards, and international codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the final technical authority for all electrical engineering matters
• Define and approve the electrical design philosophy and system architecture.
• Review and sign off on concept, schematic, detailed design, and IFC drawings.
• Lead value engineering (VE) initiatives and technical optimization.
• Lead design and coordination of MV/LV power distribution systems.
• Oversee design of substations, transformers, RMUs, and switchgear systems.
• Ensure proper design of backup systems (generators, UPS, redundancy schemes).
• Manage high‑rise vertical distribution systems (risers and zoning).
• Ensure system reliability through N+1 / 2N redundancy strategies.
• Plan for future load growth and scalability.
• Lead electrical engineering across multiple towers and shared infrastructure.
• Manage load distribution and utility interfaces between towers.
• Ensure coordination of podium, basement, and common services systems.
• Identify and resolve cross‑discipline and cross‑tower interface issues.
• Manage and coordinate electrical design consultants and engineering teams.
• Review and approve shop drawings, technical submittals, and material submissions.
• Ensure coordination with architectural, structural, MEP, and ELV disciplines.
• Lead coordination with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), Civil Defense, and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Manage authority submissions, approvals, and inspection processes.
• Provide technical oversight during construction phase.
• Resolve technical issues and design conflicts during execution.
• Oversee testing & commissioning (T&C), system energization, and handover.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and engineering challenges.
• Ensure implementation of QA/QC standards and design review controls.
• Maintain technical documentation, records, and design traceability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Min 10 years of experience. with experience in High-Rise or tower projects.
• Proven experience on mega projects (multi‑billion SAR).
• Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD, or similar.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong in MV/LV systems and substations & High‑rise vertical distribution & Generators, UPS, redundancy design.
• Deep knowledge of SEC requirements and Saudi regulations & International electrical standards
