Job Description

Responsible to operate DP system as per operation requirement

• Responsible for the continual on -duty - scheme in the DP control room.

• Ensure that all DP system data are recorded.

• Carry out the set up of the DP system operating parameters.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to operate DP system as per operation requirement

• Responsible for the continual on -duty - scheme in the DP control room.

• Ensure that all DP system data are recorded.

• Carry out the set up of the DP system operating parameters.

• Assist in performing maintenance on DP equipments

• Carry out frequent inspection on DP system sensors, computers and references.

• Should be familiar and implement IMCA requirements related to DP system.

• Responsible that the JDPO is well trained & capable of handling DP system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma

• Should be having Class 1 COC unlimited

• Full and unlimited DP certificates

• Minimum of 4 years experience on DP vessels, specifically on rank is 2 years onboard similar type of vesels

• Good English Communication skills

• Good Knowledge of safe practices related to DP operation
