Your Job

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Cloudera/CDP, Spark, Hive & Impala
• Experience in ETL/ELT, batch & real-time data pipelines
• Hands-on knowledge of Kafka & NiFi
• Strong understanding of HDFS/Ozone, YARN & cluster operations
• Experience with Iceberg tables, schema evolution & data modeling
• Good troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Experience with Cloudera Manager and production monitoring
• Knowledge of Kerberos, Ranger & Atlas
• Strong Linux/Unix skills
• Experience in L1/L2 production support, SLA, ITIL & RCA
• Willingness to work in on-call/shift-based support

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support scalable Spark, Hive, Impala and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Build and troubleshoot Kafka/NiFi batch and streaming pipelines
• Support HDFS/Ozone, YARN and Cloudera/CDP clusters
• Monitor cluster health and production workloads using Cloudera Manager
• Troubleshoot job failures, memory issues, performance and long-running queries
• Manage Iceberg tables, metadata and schema consistency
• Support HBase, Kudu, Phoenix and Solr environments
• Handle incidents, RCA, deployments, upgrades, patching and production cutovers
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks and monitoring dashboards
• Ensure platform stability, security, governance and SLA compliance
