المهام والمسؤوليات
- تحضير المرضى لفحوصات EEG وشرح الإجراءات لهم.
- وضع الأقطاب الكهربائية وفقاً للبروتوكولات المعتمدة ومراقبة التسجيلات لضمان جودة البيانات.
- تشغيل وصيانة أجهزة EEG وأجهزة التشخيص العصبي.
- توثيق معلومات المريض وظروف الاختبار بدقة.
- مساعدة الأطباء بتقديم تقارير EEG منظمة وواضحة.
- التعاون الوثيق مع أطباء الأعصاب والممرضين وغيرهم من المتخصصين.
- الالتزام بمعايير مكافحة العدوى والسلامة.
- دعم التحسين المستمر في خدمات تشخيص الأعصاب.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- دبلوم أو شهادة في تكنولوجيا تشخيص الأعصاب أو EEG أو مجال صحي مساعد ذي صلة؛ ويفضل الحصول على ترخيص مهني وفقاً للوائح السعودية.
- خبرة سابقة كفني EEG أو في قسم تشخيص الأعصاب (يفضل في بيئة مستشفى).
المهارات المطلوبة
- مهارات تقنية في تشغيل أجهزة EEG وأجهزة تشخيص الأعصاب، وتركيب الأقطاب، واستكشاف الأعطال الأساسية.
- معرفة إجراءات EEG وأساسيات الفيزيولوجيا العصبية وبروتوكولات التسجيل للمرضى البالغين والأطفال.
- مهارات قوية في رعاية المرضى: التواصل الواضح، اللباقة المهنية، ودعم المرضى من خلفيات متنوعة.
- الاهتمام بالتفاصيل في التوثيق وإدخال البيانات والالتزام بسياسات المستشفى.
- القدرة على العمل ضمن فريق متعدد التخصصات وإدارة الوقت وتحديد أولويات الحالات.
- إلمام أساسي بالحاسب الآلي للسجلات الطبية والتقارير؛ إجادة اللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية (مفيد).

Role Description The EEG Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) tests and related neurodiagnostic procedures under the supervision of medical staff. Daily tasks include preparing patients for EEG studies, explaining procedures, positioning electrodes according to established protocols, and monitoring recordings to ensure high-quality, interpretable data. The role involves operating and maintaining EEG equipment, documenting patient information and test conditions accurately, and assisting physicians by providing clear, organized EEG reports. The EEG Technician collaborates closely with neurologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, adheres to infection control and safety standards, and supports continuous improvement in neurodiagnostic services.

- Strong patient care skills, including clear communication, professional bedside manner, and ability to support patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Attention to detail in documentation, accurate data entry, and adherence to hospital policies and clinical guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple cases in a clinical setting.
- Diploma or certification in Neurodiagnostic Technology, EEG Technology, or a related allied health field; professional registration or licensing as required by Saudi regulations is preferred.
- Previous experience as an EEG Technician or in a neurodiagnostic department is an advantage, especially in hospital environments.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic medical records and reporting; proficiency in English and Arabic is beneficial.
