Role Description The Planning Engineer Fit-out is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for interior fit-out works, coordinating with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring progress against the baseline program, updating schedules, preparing progress reports, and identifying risks and delays with mitigation plans.

The role also involves resource planning, production planning for site activities, and ensuring alignment with client requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations. The Planning Engineer Fit-out will participate in project meetings, provide analytical input for decision-making, and support continuous improvement in project control processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills, with experience in developing and managing detailed project schedules for fit-out or construction projects.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret project data, forecast trends, identify risks, and propose effective corrective actions.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, present progress reports, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Candidates should possess Project Control skills, including monitoring project performance, tracking milestones, and ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; professional certifications in planning or project management (e.g., PMI, PSP) are an advantage.
• Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (such as Primavera P6 or MS Project), and strong MS Office skills.
• Prior experience in interior fit-out or turnkey contracting in the GCC region is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment; strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
