Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Audio Visual Engineer role based in Riyadh. The Senior Audio Visual Engineer will design, engineer, and document AV solutions for corporate, governmental, and specialized facilities, ensuring systems meet performance, safety, and compliance standards. Responsibilities include preparing system schematics, equipment lists, and installation drawings; overseeing installation, configuration, and testing of audio, video, control, and networked AV components; and coordinating with project managers, contractors, and vendors to meet timelines and budgets. The role involves conducting site surveys, troubleshooting system issues, optimizing existing AV setups, and providing technical guidance to junior team members and technicians. The Senior Audio Visual Engineer will also support commissioning, end-user training, and handover documentation to ensure reliable long-term operation of AV systems.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in AV system design and engineering, including audio, video, control, and networked AV systems.
- Proficiency with AV design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio, or similar) and ability to produce detailed schematics and layout drawings.
- Solid knowledge of AV integration standards, signal flow, IP-based distribution, and industry protocols (e.g., HDMI, HDBaseT, Dante, VoIP).
- Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of AV equipment and control systems.
- Familiarity with building management systems, surveillance, or related low-current systems is an advantage.
- Strong project coordination skills, including stakeholder communication, documentation, and adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communication, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CTS/CTS-D, manufacturer certifications) are preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, manage multiple projects, and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an asset.
