Role Description

The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, responsible for overseeing all financial planning, reporting, and control activities for MAKKAH WATER SAFA. Daily responsibilities include preparing budgets and forecasts, monitoring cash flow, managing general ledger and month-end closing, and ensuring timely, accurate financial statements. The role coordinates with operations, sales, and procurement to analyze costs, margins, and investment decisions, and to support strategic planning with data-driven insights. The Finance Manager also supervises compliance with local regulations, tax and Zakat requirements, and internal policies, while strengthening internal controls and supporting audits. This position leads and develops the finance team, implements process improvements, and supports senior leadership with regular financial analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including cash flow management and cost analysis.

• Proficiency in financial reporting and accounting, including general ledger management, month-end closing, and compliance with relevant standards.

• Experience with financial controls, audits, and risk management to ensure accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

• Ability to use ERP and financial systems, with solid skills in Excel and data analysis tools for decision support.

• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience, or a Master’s degree in Accounting with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience.

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are an advantage.

• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG, preferably in the water or beverage industry, with familiarity with the Saudi regulatory, tax, and Zakat environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
