Operating Model and Prioritization

The Business Continuity Specialist shall perform the responsibilities defined in this RFP based on priorities agreed with the CCPRO.

Activities shall be planned, assigned, and tracked through an agreed work plan, which may be reviewed weekly, monthly, or as otherwise agreed with the CCPRO, taking into consideration business priorities, resilience risks, audit observations, test results, operational disruptions, compliance obligations, and available resources.

The Business Continuity Specialist shall coordinate with business stakeholders, Department Business Continuity Champions, IT, HR, Operations, Finance, Internal Audit, and external vendors to support business continuity implementation and resilience improvement activities.

Where specialized expertise is required, the vendor shall provide support through its extended business continuity and resilience team as defined in the Vendor Support Requirement section.

Minimum Resource Qualification Requirements

The proposed Business Continuity Specialist shall possess, at a minimum:

• 5+ years of professional experience.

• Minimum 3 years of dedicated business continuity, resilience, or crisis management experience.

• Experience conducting and maintaining BIAs.

• Experience supporting BCP and DRP activities.

• Experience coordinating business continuity exercises and testing activities.

• Experience supporting BCMS implementation programmes.

• Experience supporting audits and business continuity reviews.

• Working knowledge of ISO 22301 and business continuity best practices.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Professional certifications such as ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor, CBCI, CBCP, MBCI, CFCP, or equivalent shall be considered an advantage.
