Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fire Pump Technician (UL and Non-UL) based in Al Khobar. The technician will install, inspect, test, and commission UL and Non-UL fire pumps and associated control panels, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications. Responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control issues to restore systems to proper operation. The role involves documenting work performed, preparing service reports, supporting site acceptance tests, and coordinating with project engineers, supervisors, and other technicians. The technician will also assist in training end users on basic pump operation and safety procedures and adhere to all company and regulatory health and safety practices.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fire safety and life safety principles, with practical experience in fire safety systems and life safety practices.
• Hands-on experience working with fire pumps, fire suppression systems, and fire extinguisher equipment in UL and Non-UL environments.
• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in fire pump systems, including controls, valves, and related components.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (e.g., NFPA, Saudi Civil Defense requirements) and safe work practices.
• Technical diploma or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Previous field experience in fire protection, firefighting systems, or building services maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work safely in active construction and operational environments.
