About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Parrot Analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to uncover trends, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, a passion for the entertainment industry, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of audience measurement technology, contributing directly to the development of innovative analytics solutions that influence content production and distribution strategies worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, preferably within the media or entertainment industry.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other relevant data analysis tools.
• Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of audience measurement metrics and media consumption trends is a plus.

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify patterns and trends in audience behavior.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into content performance and viewer engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and content strategy to inform decision-making.
• Design and implement data models and algorithms to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of audience measurement tools.
• Monitor data quality and ensure the integrity and consistency of datasets used for analysis.
• Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and external clients in a clear and compelling manner.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and audience measurement.
