Electromechanical Engineer - Sorting Machines

Location: Qassim & Riyadh| Employment Type: Full-Time | About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electromechanical Engineer to join our team, working on our advanced sorting machines. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role that combines machine development, maintenance, and client-facing technical sales support. You will play a key part in keeping our machines running at peak performance, improving their design, and supporting our clients directly on-site.Key Responsibilities

Development

• Contribute to the design, testing, and improvement of our sorting machine systems
• Work on upgrades and modifications to enhance machine performance and reliability
• Collaborate with the engineering team on new product development projects

Maintenance & Repair

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on sorting machines
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system faults
• Troubleshoot PLC and SCADA systems to minimize machine downtime
• Maintain and repair motor control systems (drives, contactors, VFDs, etc.)
• Keep accurate maintenance records and service reports

Sales & Client Support

• Work directly with clients to support machine installation, commissioning, and after-sales service
• Provide technical consultation and demonstrations to existing and prospective clients
• Support the sales team with technical expertise during client meetings and negotiations
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through reliable technical support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven hands-on experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of motor control systems (VFDs, servo motors, starters, protection devices)
• Solid experience in machine repair and troubleshooting (electrical and mechanical)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Willingness to travel to client sites for installation, maintenance, and support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing work

• Experience with sorting, packaging, or material-handling machinery
• Knowledge of industrial sensors, vision systems, or pneumatics
