Role Description The Heavy Equipment Mechanical Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah. The technician will perform routine and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment and vehicles, including inspection, servicing, and replacement of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting troubleshooting, and carrying out repairs to ensure equipment reliability and safety. The role also involves documenting maintenance work, maintaining tools and workshop equipment, coordinating with supervisors and operators on equipment performance, and adhering to company safety and quality standards. The technician will support project operations by minimizing downtime, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring all equipment is ready and compliant for field use.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance to perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Heavy Equipment, including understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Equipment Repair and Troubleshooting to diagnose faults and complete timely, effective repairs.
• Experience working in construction, contracting, or heavy equipment rental environments is preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals, service bulletins, and equipment diagrams, with attention to safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operators, supervisors, and maintenance teams.
• Physical ability to perform hands-on mechanical work, including lifting, climbing, and working in outdoor site conditions.
• Commitment to workplace safety, adherence to company policies, and willingness to work flexible hours when required.
