We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Piping Designer with 8-15 years of expertise to join our team for the Engineering Phase of a major offshore oil and gas project in Al Khobar, KSA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in offshore piping design, 3D modeling, and preparation of engineering deliverables in accordance with ARAMCO standards and international codes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop piping layouts, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, isometric drawings, and 3D models for offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, and associated facilities.
• Prepare and review piping deliverables including piping plans, support drawings, material take-offs (MTOs), and piping specifications.
• Perform equipment and piping layout studies ensuring safe operation, maintainability, accessibility, and compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve interdisciplinary design issues using 3D modeling tools.
• Coordinate with piping engineers, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines to ensure proper integration of piping systems.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure equipment interfaces and piping connections are accurately incorporated into the design.
• Participate in model reviews, constructability reviews, and client meetings to address technical issues and optimize layouts.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with international standards and Saudi Aramco engineering standards and procedures (SAES/SAMSS).
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers as required.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8-15 years of experience as a Piping Designer in offshore oil and gas projects.
• Hands-on experience in offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, and brownfield modification projects.
• Advanced proficiency in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D), E3D/PDMS, AutoCAD, and related design software.
• Strong understanding of piping materials, specifications, supports, and offshore design practices.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (preferred).
• Experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering phases of offshore EPC projects.
• Familiarity with international codes such as ASME B31.3, API, and Saudi Aramco standards.
• Must be willing to work in Al Khobar, KSA.
