Leading diversified business group operating across multiple sectors, seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead the finance function for our operations in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for financial planning, reporting, governance, compliance, treasury management, and business partnering to support the organization's growth objectives.

The Finance Director will work closely with executive leadership to provide financial insight, strengthen controls, drive profitability, and ensure compliance with local regulations while supporting key business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all finance, accounting, treasury, and financial reporting activities across the KSA business.
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth plans.
• Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and performance management processes.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, statutory reporting, and accounting standards.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, financial governance, and risk management frameworks.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and capital expenditure requirements.
• Partner with business leaders to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
• Lead financial due diligence, investment analysis, and business expansion initiatives.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Lead, develop, and mentor finance teams while fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications & Experience

• Years of Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent is required.
• Experience in supporting a company through public listing, IPO readiness, or transition into a publicly listed environment is preferred.
• Experience working within diversified businesses, industrial, engineering, technology, trading, or service sectors is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Experience managing multi-entity operations and complex financial structures.
• Proven track record of supporting business growth, transformation, and strategic initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
