Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Panda Retail Company is seeking a Cybersecurity Defense Manager to join its growing Cybersecurity organization.

The Cybersecurity Defense Manager, reporting to the Head of Cybersecurity, will lead the Cybersecurity Ops team providing proactive 24x7x365 monitoring and response of the technology environment to detect, analyze, track and mitigate external threats that could impact our organization.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Lead the Cybersecurity Operations team to ensure 24x7 monitoring, detection, and mitigation of cyber threats across the company’s digital infrastructure.

Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to ensure rapid identification, containment, and recovery from security incidents.

Implement cybersecurity defense tools, systems, and controls to ensure continuous protection against evolving internal and external threats.

Monitor real-time security alerts, logs, and threat intelligence feeds to ensure timely analysis and response to potential vulnerabilities or breaches

Coordinate collaboration between IT, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure integration of cybersecurity controls within enterprise risk frameworks.

Analyze root causes of security incidents and vulnerabilities to ensure effective preventive measures and improvement of defense mechanisms

Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain organizational resilience and compliance readiness.

Drive cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives to ensure employee understanding of security responsibilities and reduction of human-related risks

Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on incident trends, system performance, and threat metrics to ensure executive visibility and informed decision-making

Develop and mentor the cybersecurity defense team to ensure continuous skill enhancement, operational excellence, and alignment with strategic objectives

Skills

Qualification

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)

Server administration background is recommended.

Analytical, attention to detail and careful documentation

Comfortable with command line tools in both Linux and Windows

An expert of firewalls, SIEM, antivirus and other Security tools/solutions
