Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Bidding Engineer - MEP to join our fit-out and contracting team in Riyadh. The candidate must have previous experience in pricing MEP works for office fit-out, renovation, refurbishment, and fast-track projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender requirements

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, fire alarm, and low-current systems

• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations

• Prepare pricing sheets, rate analysis, exclusions, qualifications, and value-engineering options

• Prepare technical proposals including compliance sheets, method statements, material specifications, execution plans, and tender clarifications

• Coordinate with design, procurement, engineering, and project teams

• Follow up on tender clarifications and support project handover after award

Requirements

• Previous experience as an MEP Bidding / Estimation Engineer in a contracting or fit-out company is mandatory.

• Must have hands-on experience pricing MEP works for fit-out and office renovation projects.

• Must have experience preparing technical proposals for MEP and fit-out tenders.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, fire alarm, low-current, data, CCTV, and access control systems

• Ability to read MEP drawings, BOQs, and specifications

• Strong skills in quantity take-off, cost estimation, quotation comparison, and tender preparation

• Good knowledge of Saudi suppliers, subcontractors, material prices, and labor rates

• Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Experience in office, government, commercial, or corporate fit-out projects

• Arabic and English communication skills are preferred
