Position Summary:

The KAPSARC School of Public Policy (KSPP) invites applications for a faculty position in public finance. We welcome candidates whose research, teaching, and outreach activities broadly address public finance topics. The KSPP offers a highly competitive MPP program and executive education programs. 

Situated in the thriving capital city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the state-of-the-art KAPSARC campus, the KSPP is well placed to offer students an exceptional educational experience and faculty an exceptional work environment. Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate must have a strong theoretical orientation, excellent methodological skills, the ability to publish in highly ranked journals and academic presses, and the potential for effective teaching at the graduate level.
• The Faculty members are required to teach courses related to their research field, contribute to courses, supervise capstone projects and theses, and contribute to the overall academic environment of the School. 

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a Ph.D. in public budgeting or public finance, broadly construed to include areas such as public financial management, financial reporting, performance-based budgeting, fiscal sustainability and resilience, debt management, capital finance, tax and fiscal policy, macroeconomics, monetary policy, and financial administration. 
• We welcome applicants with training in related social science disciplines, including (but not limited to) public affairs, public policy, public management, public administration, economics, or political science.
