Position Summary:

The KAPSARC School of Public Policy (KSPP) invites applications for a faculty position in in science, technology, and environmental policy. We welcome candidates whose research, teaching, and outreach activities broadly focus on the public sector with some connection to public policy, public affairs, and/or economics. The KSPP offers a highly competitive MPP program and executive education programs. 

Situated in the thriving capital city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the state-of-the-art KAPSARC campus, the KSPP is well placed to offer students an exceptional educational experience and faculty an exceptional work environment. Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate must also have a strong theoretical orientation, excellent methodological skills, the ability to publish in highly ranked journals and academic presses, and the potential for effective teaching at the graduate level.
• Faculty members are required to teach courses related to their research field, contribute to courses in the context of the public sector, supervise capstone projects and theses, and contribute to the overall academic environment of the School. 

Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in public policy, public affairs, environmental studies, sustainability science, environmental economics, environmental sociology, political science, or a related field.
