Role Description The KG English Teacher is a full-time, on-site role at our school in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is in our early-years section, which has an all-female teaching team. We are looking for a teacher who lives in Riyadh, preferably in or near the Ghirnatah (Granada) district. The teacher will design and deliver age-appropriate English lessons that foster early literacy, language development and communication skills through play-based and activity-based learning. Daily responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing the classroom environment, assessing student progress and providing regular feedback to learners and families. The role involves collaborating with colleagues to align teaching practices with the school’s American curriculum, participating in professional development, and contributing to school events and initiatives. The teacher will also ensure a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom that supports each child’s social, emotional and creative growth.

Qualifications

• Currently living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; candidates in or near the Ghirnatah (Granada) district are preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in English Teaching and early-years Teaching for kindergarten learners.
• Strong Lesson Planning abilities, including creating age-appropriate, engaging and differentiated activities.
• Background in Education, preferably in early childhood or primary education.
• Excellent Communication skills with children, families and colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
• Previous experience teaching English to young learners, ideally in an international or bilingual school setting.
• Ability to create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment and manage behavior positively.
• Proficiency in using basic educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability and a collaborative approach to working within a school team.
• Familiarity with American curriculum standards is an advantage.
