This role is responsible for PR and communication for flyadeal, and takes operational ownership of building flyadeal’s profile in the Kingdom and in international markets flyadeal operates to through both traditional and digital media,eading the airline’s Public Relations and Corporate Communications activities by building and maintaining strategic stakeholder relationships, enhancing brand reputation and public perception, managing media and communication channels, and delivering PR campaigns, events, content, and other related initiatives to maximize impact and ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and communicate a consistent flyadeal story, value proposition, and corporate narrative with a long-term perspective of enhancing reputation, positive perception, and strategic positioning.
- Ensure the brand purpose, values, and key corporate messages are delivered in a culturally relevant manner that effectively engages all stakeholders.
- Set and own the PR and Corporate Communications plan and activity calendar for company milestones, events, exhibitions, conferences, and key corporate announcements.
- Understand and support the company's relationship with government entities, regulatory bodies, and the broader external affairs environment.
- Propose and implement innovative approaches to Public Relations and Corporate Communications across digital, owned, earned, and offline media, ensuring flyadeal consistently delivers on its brand promise and value proposition.
- Build and manage effective media relations with local and international media outlets, journalists, and industry publications.
- Develop effective relationships with influencers, industry experts, opinion leaders, and other key external stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, corporate communications materials, media kits, and executive messaging in Arabic and English in a timely and proactive manner, ensuring appropriate inputs and approvals.
- Identify, initiate, and manage flyadeal's presence at key exhibitions, conferences, and industry events in KSA and the region.
- Support Management and HR teams with internal communications initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and team spirit while ensuring consistent tone of voice, brand guidelines, and approved messaging.
- Issue a quarterly internal newsletter in collaboration with HR, gathering relevant information across the organization and translating it into engaging content.
- Own internal communications channels and intranet content, ensuring communications remain relevant, timely, and engaging.
- Work with the e-Commerce team on content for digital platforms, ensuring Arabic and English copy is accurate, aligned with brand standards, and supports corporate messaging.
- Ensure the website and app are updated with relevant media, corporate communications, and company news content.
- Lead crisis communications planning and execution.
- Monitor social media for discussions that can impact flyadeal reputation or public perception.
- Prepare for potential crisis communications scenarios, including reputation management, public opinion matters, and emergency response (ERP) requirements.
- Propose and develop effective corporate reputation initiatives that create shared value for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure high ethical standards and compliance with Saudi laws, customs and social responsibilities.
- Keep abreast of issues related to travel and aviation with a special focus on the region and on low-cost aviation worldwide has current and applicable understanding of digital and mobile innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Minimum +10 years in job-related experience within PR and Corporate communications out of which minimum +5 years in a leading PR and corporate communications role in an airline or aviation related entity.
