Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Support Technician role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Technical Support Technician will provide front-line technical support for refrigeration units, including diagnosing issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, and assisting with installation and commissioning of systems. The role involves responding to service requests, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, and ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime for customers. The technician will document all service activities, maintain accurate records of parts and tools used, and support senior engineers during complex installations or upgrades. The role also includes educating customers on basic operation and maintenance, adhering to safety and quality standards, and coordinating with the sales and operations teams to support ongoing projects and service contracts.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, or cooling systems, including basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Experience with hands-on maintenance, repair, and installation of refrigeration units or related equipment.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
• Good organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining service records and reporting issues accurately.
• Capacity to work safely on-site, follow company safety procedures, and use tools and equipment correctly.
• Relevant technical diploma or certificate in refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical technology; comparable practical experience may be considered.
• Willingness to work in the field, including visits to commercial, industrial, and warehouse sites in and around Riyadh.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Basic computer literacy for using service management systems, email, and reporting tools; a valid driving license is an advantage.
