Description
Job Purpose:
Facilitate comprehensive Audiological assessments, diagnose hearing disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Conducts thorough audiometric evaluations to assess hearing ability and diagnose auditory disorders.
- Administers advanced diagnostic procedures such as Otoacoustic emissions (OAE), auditory brainstem response (ABR), and tympanometry.
- Interprets test results and collaborate with medical professionals to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Recommends and fits hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and other hearing enhancement technologies.
- Provides comprehensive counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing health and communication strategies.
- Collaborates seamlessly with physicians, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Stays abreast of advancements in audiology research, technology, and treatment modalities.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments and preventative measures if applicable.

Requirements
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of hearing aid technology, fitting, and programming.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
Experience
3 - 5 Years’ Experience in conducting Audiological assessments and providing rehabilitation services.
Education
Bachelor Degree in Audiology
Language
Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages
Licenses / Certifications
License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority e.g. (SCFHS / DHA), BLS
