We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Frac´ing and Completions with strong data science and digital capabilities to bridge operational expertise with advanced analytics. This role sits at the intersection of field operations, customer engagement, and data-driven solutions, ensuring that real-world oil & gas workflows are transformed into scalable, high-impact solutions using Intelie LIVE®. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers in KSA (Dammam) while collaborating closely with a global team of data scientists, developers, and sales teams to deliver measurable operational value.

Job responsibilities:

Operational SME & Customer Engagement

• Act as Frac & Completions SME across pre-sales, delivery, and post-deployment phases
• Engage directly with customer teams in KSA to understand fracturing, completions, and production workflows
• Translate field challenges into data-driven use cases and analytics solutions
• Support RFPs, technical proposals, demos, and customer workshops
• Serve as the primary technical interface between customer operations and Intelie teams

Data Science & Analytics Integration

• Translate business problems into data science and machine learning opportunities
• Collaborate with data scientists to:
• Define datasets and features
• Validate models against operational reality
• Ensure actionable outcomes (not just models)
• Support exploratory data analysis, interpretation of results, and insights storytelling
• Identify opportunities for:
• Predictive analytics (e.g., frac performance, failure prediction)
• Optimization (stage design, completion efficiency)
• Real-time monitoring improvements

Solution Delivery & Value Realization

• Own solution scoping, use case definition, and value tracking
• Ensure successful deployment and adoption of Intelie LIVE® solutions
• Coordinate with internal teams (data science, engineering, support)
• Monitor KPIs such as:
• Operational efficiency improvements
• Incident reduction
• Customer adoption and satisfaction

Internal Collaboration

• Act as SME reference for developers and data scientists
• Contribute to product improvements by sharing field insights and use cases
• Enable Sales with technical narratives and domain expertise

Education, Knowledge, Hard Skills & Abilities:

Domain Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas upstream operations
• Strong expertise in Hydraulic fracturing (frac operations) and Well completions
• Practical experience in roles such as Completion Engineer, Frac Engineer, Production Engineer
• Strong understanding of operational data (pressure, rate, proppant, etc.)
• Physics and statistics applied to oilfield operations
• Hands-on or working knowledge of Data analysis (Python, Pandas, or similar); Data visualization tools and Machine learning concepts and workflows
• Ability to bridge domain knowledge with analytics teams (critical differentiator)
• Experience with real-time monitoring and analytics platforms and digital oilfield / AI / ML initiatives
• Ability to translate operational needs into technical and analytical solutions
• Fluent English

Must to have:

• Arabic speaking is desirable
• Experience in KSA or Middle East operations (especially Dammam region)
• Background in: Data science projects or AI initiatives; Product or solution development
• Familiarity with: Cloud environments and Version control (Git)
