We are looking for an O&G Resident Engineer - AI Solutions to act as the bridge between advanced data/AI technologies and real-world operations in hydraulic Fracturing and Completions. This role combines deep field operational expertise with customer engagement and digital solution delivery, ensuring that AI-driven insights translate into measurable performance improvements in the field. You will work closely with customers in KSA (Dammam), partnering with engineering, operations, and technical teams to drive adoption, optimization, and continuous value delivery of Intelie’s real-time analytics platform.

Job Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Value Delivery

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for clients, ensuring successful adoption of AI-powered solutions in frac and completions operations
• Build strong relationships with field engineers, ops managers, and technical stakeholders
• Translate customer challenges into data-driven use cases and solutions
• Drive measurable outcomes such as efficiency gains, cost reduction, and risk mitigation

Operational SME (Frac & Completions)

• Apply hands-on expertise in hydraulic fracturing and completions to contextualize data insights
• Support configuration and tuning of analytics models based on operational realities
• Validate outputs and ensure alignment with field conditions, KPIs, and best practices
• Act as a trusted voice connecting domain knowledge with digital solutions

AI & Digital Solution Enablement

• Support deployment and continuous improvement of AI-driven applications and real-time analytics
• Collaborate with product and data teams to refine models, alerts, and workflows
• Identify opportunities to expand use cases and increase platform footprint within accounts
• Provide feedback loops to enhance product capabilities and usability

Field Integration & Change Management

• Facilitate adoption of new technologies within customer workflows and decision processes
• Train end users and promote best practices for data-driven operations
• Act as a change agent, helping teams transition from traditional monitoring to AI-assisted decision-making

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Identify new business opportunities based on operational gaps and emerging needs
• Contribute to playbooks, use cases, and repeatable deployment strategies
• Support internal teams with field insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence

Education, Knowledge, Hard Skills & Abilities

Domain Expertise

• Strong experience in hydraulic fracturing and completions operations (field or engineering roles)
• Proven ability in customer-facing roles (technical support, field engineering, consulting, or similar)
• Solid understanding of operational KPIs, workflows, and challenges in O&G
• Experience working with real-time data, monitoring systems, or digital oilfield technologies
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business value
• Fluent English

Bonus Points

• Arabic speaking is desirable
• Exposure to data analytics, AI/ML applications, or digital transformation initiatives
• Experience with SaaS platforms or industrial software solutions
• Background in production optimization, drilling analytics, or completions diagnostics
