المهام والمسؤوليات

Kent is looking for Site Construction Manager (Mega EPC in KSA) Kent is seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager to join a major greenfield/brownfield EPC project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a senior site leadership role on a strategically critical program involving modifications to existing process facilities, development of new process units, extensive utilities upgrades, and delivery of associated infrastructure within a live operating environment.
The Site Construction Manager will be primarily site-based from mobilisation, taking full responsibility for establishing and managing the project site from the earliest phases. The role will be directly involved in the planning, development and execution of site establishment activities, including Temporary Construction Facilities (TCF), accommodation camps and external laydown areas, ensuring the site is fully prepared to support large-scale construction execution.
During the early project phases, this role will also require periodic work from the Al Khobar office, supporting planning, coordination and mobilisation activities ahead of full site deployment.
The role is accountable for safe and predictable day-to-day construction delivery, ensuring all site activities are executed in line with project schedule, cost and quality objectives, and that the site is fully prepared to support construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as they ramp up.
At peak, the Site Construction Manager will lead a workforce of over 1,600 personnel, with direct responsibility for a team of Construction Area Managers (5+), coordinating multiple work fronts across a complex, multi-discipline environment including MPE&I, civil/structural works and heavy lift operations.
Operating across both brownfield and greenfield scopes, the role requires strong management of interfaces, SIMOPS and execution sequencing within a live operating facility. A strong working knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards, procedures and specifications, including the Construction Safety Manual and CSI requirements, is essential to ensure full compliance throughout site execution.
The Site Construction Manager will report to the Senior Project Construction Manager, who will initially be based in the UK engineering office and responsible for construction start-up, constructability and Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) strategy. The Site Construction Manager will be responsible for translating this strategy into effective field execution, embedding AWP, workface planning and digital construction practices at site level.
The project is driven by a Right-to-Left delivery philosophy, bringing construction into the early phases of engineering and planning to maximise execution success. The Site Construction Manager will play a key role in implementing this approach on site, ensuring that construction requirements drive sequencing, work packaging and execution planning.
The role requires a strong, visible leader with a proven track record of leading large-scale, multi-national construction teams in Saudi Arabia, particularly on Saudi Aramco projects, and the ability to deliver safe, coordinated and high-performance execution in a complex and demanding environment.

- Plans and manages the full site construction lifecycle, from site establishment and mobilisation through to execution and demobilisation
- Maintains close alignment with the Senior Project Construction Manager and project leadership team, ensuring consistency between strategy and execution
- Provides structured reporting on HSSE, progress, manpower, productivity and commercial performance
- Supports construction cost control through productivity monitoring, earned value awareness and change identification
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards, regulatory requirements and EPC construction best practices, including AWP and digital execution developments
- Demonstrates strong, visible leadership behaviours, driving performance, discipline and professionalism across a large, multi-national site workforce
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline preferred; alternatively a time-served trades background with a recognised Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 15-20 years’ oil & gas EPC construction experience, with significant experience in site-based leadership roles on large-scale projects
- Proven track record delivering major EPC construction projects at site level, including management of large multi-national workforces (1000+ personnel)
- Prior experience on projects of comparable scale and complexity for major National Oil Companies, with Saudi Aramco project experience in KSA essential
- Demonstrated ability to lead and embed HSE culture at site level, translating safety requirements into daily behaviours across all work fronts
- Strong practical knowledge of AWP, with experience implementing IWPs and driving workface planning and execution
Expert understanding of brownfield construction, including SIMOPS, PTW systems, shutdown coordination and live plant interfaces
