Title: Products & Payments Innovation Senior Manager

Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of the innovation origination roadmap and ensure timely delivery of key experimentation projects.
- Identify, prioritize, and assess new innovation opportunities across business units and technology areas.
- Coordinate proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives in collaboration with FinTechs, internal stakeholders, and innovation partners.
- Translate innovation ideas into structured business cases and implementation plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams during experimentation phases, ensuring design, testing, and validation meet governance standards.
- Track innovation KPIs, performance metrics, and report progress to the Head.
- Support internal capability building through workshops, training, and awareness sessions.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder engagement to ensure adoption and alignment.
- Supervise the Officer in documentation, research, and monitoring tasks related to projects.
- In partnership with the Chief Innovation Banking Officer, develop a sustainable and fit-for-purpose roadmap and operating model for Innovation Origination at SAB; harnessing knowledge and subject matter expertise on key trends relevant to Banking and Financial services
- Referencing emerging trends and also ecosystem capabilities such as Fintechs and also emerging disruptive, transformative technologies, develop in partnership with SAB’s Business Teams an organizational vision and strategy for solutions to be experimented by the Bank and where the Bank would be able to demonstrate first mover advantage
- Ideation of and experimentation of applicable initiative, in alignment with the Innovation methodology, with a particular emphasis to Innovate at Pace and Scale using emerging, disruptive and transformative technological solutions i.e. AI, Blockchain etc.
- Designing of Innovative solutions for adoption by the Bank’s Businesses and Functions, focusing on the vision and strategic aspirations of the Bank over the medium to longer term
- Harnessing the Innovation Centre as well as linkages with the Business teams to identify relevant use cases for SAB to be a Future ready Bank, that are aimed at supporting customers’ evolving needs from their Bank
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or related fields. Master’s degree or MBA is preferred
- Around 10 years of experience with preferred 4 years in a relevant role.
