The Line Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for carrying out all line maintenance activities, as well as providing assistance, while oversighting third party activities.

• Able to demonstrate in-depth airframe and engine systems maintenance knowledge.

• Preparation of BSI & Compressor wash equipment at site.

• Carry out borescope & Eng wash tasks in accordance with AMM.

• Evaluate damage found in BSI in accordance with AMM.

• Write reports detailing BSI findings and condition of engine.

• Monitor and oversight engine-run post compressor wash. 

• Well up-keeping of BSI and Eng Wash equipment and reporting of equipment defects.

• Releasing ACFT after tasks are accomplished.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and systems modifications on all Thales Systems.

• Travel with BSI equipment to perform Borescope inspection tasks in outer stations.

• At least 3 years’ experience certifying maintenance on the A320 aircraft.

• At least 5 years’ experience in a Line/Base aircraft Maintenance environment.

• Valid GACA A & P/FAA or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance License.

• A320 (CFM56/LEAP 1A) family type rating.

• Engine run (RTS).

• CFM 56B Borescope Inspection Approval.
