The Technical Planner is responsible for coordinating all scheduled aircraft maintenance activities for flyadeal, ensuring availability of resources, spares, and tools to support maintenance execution. This includes preparing weekly and long-term maintenance plans, coordinating across departments, and maintaining regulatory compliance while ensuring operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the contracted service provider to regularly obtain and review Maintenance Due Lists.
• Identify maintenance tasks due based on time limits or utilization.
• Assign maintenance work to stations in collaboration with Line Planners.
• Ensure the creation and issuance of maintenance work packages with the contracted provider.
• Liaise with the Contracted Maintenance Organization (CMO) for resource and tooling availability.
• Prepare and distribute a bi-weekly maintenance plan to all stakeholders.
• Issue a rolling 3-month plan covering A-checks, Borescope inspections, RAT tests, and other scheduled tasks.
• Revise maintenance plans based on actual check performance.
• Coordinate with Aircraft Scheduling to ensure aircraft availability for maintenance.
• Work with MCC to resolve MEL items and other open defects.
• Coordinate with MCC Defect Controller for Maintenance Action Requests based on Skywise data.
• Liaise with Material Planning to confirm availability of spares, materials, and tools.
• Closely follow up on all planned maintenance for timely aircraft release.
• Ensure a handover process of completed maintenance documentation from CMO to flyadeal Line Planners.
• Validate accuracy of aircraft paperwork before submission to Technical Records.
• Ensure all completed packages are reported to the service provider for MIS update.
• Coordinate with Technical Records Supervisor to ensure defect closures, component changes, and flight data are updated.
• Support Quality and Technical Records teams in the Certificate of Airworthiness (COA) renewal process.
• Prepare delay reports for late aircraft release from maintenance.
• Develop shift rosters for Line Planners to ensure coverage during routine and unscheduled events.
• Monitor performance of Line Planners and conduct performance reviews.
• Identify training needs and coordinate with the Planning Manager for learning opportunities.
• Maintain consistent communication with MCC, Engineering, Scheduling, and the CMO.
• Review current planning procedures and recommend process enhancements.

• Technical diploma in aircraft maintenance or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical planning role within an aircraft maintenance environment.
• Proficient in using Maintenance Information Systems (MIS).
• Good understanding of GACA regulations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with aircraft manufacturers' manuals and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
