The Supervisor Mechanic is responsible for overseeing and executing all fleet line maintenance activities, and third-party maintenance activities.
- Supervise and provide guidance to all maintenance staff under responsibility.
- Prepare Roaster for staff to ensure availability of manpower to support aircraft operation.
- Prepare BSI & Compressor wash equipment at site.
- Carry out borescope & Eng wash tasks in accordance with AMM.
- Evaluate damage found in BSI in accordance with AMM.
- Write reports detailing BSI findings and condition of engine.
- Monitor and oversight engine-run post compressor wash.
- Ensure BSI and Engine Wash equipment are used and stored as per appropriate manuals and report any equipment defect.
- Perform maintenance on aircraft in accordance with AMM (including Engine/APU and other Component Changes on Aircraft).
- Perform defects troubleshooting and rectification on aircraft in accordance with TSM, MCC/Engineering Instructions and other Original Equipment Manufacturer’s Instructions.
- Release aircraft to service after tasks are accomplished.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and systems modifications on all Thales Systems.
- Perform preliminary assessment of any aircraft damage and write report for Management.
- Travel with BSI equipment to perform Borescope inspection tasks in outer stations.
- Min. of 5 years’ experience certifying maintenance on the A320 aircraft.
- Min. of 10 years’ experience in a Line/Base aircraft Maintenance environment.
- A320 (CFM56/LEAP 1A) family type rating with engine run and borescope certification.
