Governance, Risk, Compliance & Legal Manager is responsible for development and implementation of Governance, Risk, Compliance & Legal Management, and Business Continuity strategies in line with Khazeen’s vision and mission, guidelines provided by the regulators and as per the international best practices
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIE:
- Leads the development of Khazeen’s Governance, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Business continuity strategies in line with company’s mission and vision under the guidelines given by the CEO
- Ensures that a comprehensive framework for governance and compliance standards is in place and continuously monitors the implementation
- Leads the development of Risk Management Plan as per the international best practices and standards
- Oversees the development of Khazeen’s risk matrix by identifying dependencies and the impacts of not meeting scheduled dates
- Monitors projects and ensures that an adequate and robust Risk Management process is implemented
- Oversees the development of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) process across the organization and monitors the progress
- Facilitates and supports the execution of the plans at the time of a crisis event
- .Directs and monitors the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of function’s activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost effective service to employees / customers
- Ensures that the company conducts its business in accordance with the regulations and instructions issued by the supervisory and regulatory authorities, the internal policies of the company, and the decisions of the Board of Directors
- .Identifies areas of legal risks for Khazeen in relation to a broad range of matters and provide solutions to manage the risks
- Assures the confidentiality of legal materials, documents and records, and accesses by those authorized staff
- .Performs other related duties or assignments as directed
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIE:
- Ensure subordinates comply with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the department, cascading the objectives and KPIs to all members of the tea
- Oversee the selection of workforce in the department, in line with the business and operational plan
- Take necessary actions that boost subordinate engagement and enhance capability development by providing ongoing feedback and by coaching team members within the department
- Ensure all department staff adhere to Khazeen safety and security regulations and take precautionary measures within the relevant scope of work
- Optimize department’s performance and cost effectiveness through designing and monitoring of challenging KPI’s
- Review department’s performance against budget targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and initiate remedial action to correct adverse variances and enhance performance
- Manage all government and regulatory matters in accordance with company policies
- Demonstrate effective compliance with all legal requirement
- Ensure department employees are in compliance with all safety & security regulation
- conjunction with all parties, ensure all Khazeen policies are adhered to and maintained effectively
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration or equivale
Years of Experience
- 7+ years of related experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior management role in a highly regulated environment
