Key Responsibility

1. Warehouse & Operations Management

• Oversee all inbound and outbound warehouse activities (receiving, storage, picking, dispatch).
• Ensure all orders are processed accurately and within agreed SLA.
• Monitor daily operations and resolve issues proactively; escalate critical issues in a timely manner.
• Improve direct delivery performance from DC to customers.

2. Inventory & Stock Control

• Ensure accurate inventory management (SKU, batch, location, quantity).
• Conduct cycle counts and ensure audit readiness at all times.
• Minimize stock losses, damages, and expiry.
• Maintain proper documentation for all stock movements.

3. Cost Control & Efficiency

• Monitor warehouse utilization and optimize space usage.
• Reduce reliance on external warehouses and control storage costs.
• Improve productivity through process optimization and better resource utilization

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to Arla safety standards and local regulations.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Lead accident prevention initiatives and ensure proper incident reporting.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the team.

5. Quality & Food Safety

• Ensure all operations comply with quality and food safety requirements.
• Maintain hygiene standards in warehouse operations.
• Handle damaged/defective goods and claims effectively.

6. Systems & Data Management

• Ensure accuracy of master data and system transactions (SAP/SFA).
• Coordinate with IT for system issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Use data and KPIs to drive performance improvements.

7. Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with: Supply Planning , Sales & Fleet , Transport & Replenishment teams
• Ensure smooth flow of goods across the value chain.
• Maintain high customer service levels through timely deliveries.

8. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams.
• Ensure proper manpower planning and productivity tracking.
• Build capability and ensure engagement with training (Cornerstone, safety, etc.)

9. KPI & Performance Management

• Monitor and report key KPIs:
• Inventory accuracy
• Order fulfillment rate
• Delivery accuracy
• Warehouse productivity
• In Market Logistics Cost
• Take corrective actions where targets are not met.

10. Continuous Improvement & Digitalization

• Identify process gaps and implement improvement initiatives.
• Support digital tools and automation to improve efficiency.
• Drive sustainability initiatives (energy, waste reduction).
• Embraces Arla’s sustainability journey / practices within own area.
• As an Arla Ambassador, provide a positive customer experience by being approachable, professional, and knowledgeable about Arla’s products and values, creating a strong bond of trust with customers.
• Embraces digital transformation mindset, working with data to drive decision making.

Educational background/Experience

• Skilled education within logistics, Warehousing or equivalent.
• +2 years of experience with handling of goods, preferably food products.
• Organizational skills
• Have basic understanding about Logistic units. Coordinate with relevant functions to keep timely maintenance of material handling equipment’s
• General Competencies : English and IT skills on a high level
• MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook)
• Power BI, & AI.
• SAP Applications (EWM, ERP, BW, RFUI)
• SFA
