Company Description The Ministry of Health (MOH) in Saudi Arabia is dedicated to providing integrated, comprehensive, and high-quality healthcare services to all residents. Role Description The Patient Care Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, supporting clinical teams in delivering safe and compassionate care to patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with direct patient care activities, such as helping with mobility, hygiene, and comfort, and accurately measuring and recording vital signs. The role involves supporting medical and nursing staff with basic clinical procedures, preparing equipment and patient rooms, and ensuring a clean and organized care environment. The Patient Care Technician will also help with patient transport, respond to patient calls in a timely manner, and follow infection control, safety, and documentation standards. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, adherence to MOH policies, and respectful communication with patients, families, and colleagues are essential components of this position.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Patient Care and Direct Patient Care to support daily living activities, comfort, and safety.
• Competence in Medical Assisting and basic Medicine-related tasks under clinical supervision.
• Ability to accurately measure, monitor, and document Vital Signs in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Completion of a recognized Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, or related healthcare training program.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably within acute or primary care services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to patient dignity, confidentiality, and culturally sensitive care in line with MOH standards.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by clinical operations.
