Role Description The Radiology Consultant will provide expert diagnostic imaging services and clinical guidance to support high-quality patient care in Medina. This full-time, on-site role involves interpreting radiological studies, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to guide treatment decisions. Daily responsibilities include supervising imaging procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and participating in case discussions, consultations, and clinical rounds. The Radiology Consultant will contribute to protocol development, optimization of imaging workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with MOH policies. The role may also include mentoring junior staff, supporting training programs, and engaging in audit and research activities to enhance radiology services.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Medical Sales and Sales to effectively communicate clinical value and collaborate with medical equipment vendors when needed.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Orthopedics to support musculoskeletal imaging and provide accurate consultative input for orthopedic cases.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Operating Room environments to coordinate imaging support for surgical procedures and intraoperative diagnostics.
- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Medicine to integrate imaging findings with clinical information and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completed residency and board certification in Radiology, and eligibility for licensing in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven experience as a Radiology Consultant or Specialist in a hospital setting, preferably with exposure to a broad range of modalities (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to MOH standards and regulations.
- Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
