The hospital offers comprehensive services through 45 consulting clinics that cover a wide range of medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties. It is equipped with 4 operating rooms, a catheterization laboratory, an emergency department, and multiple labor and delivery rooms. The hospital also provides intensive care services for adults and newborns, along with a radiology department and a fully equipped laboratory, supporting high-quality diagnostic and treatment capabilities for patients.
Role Description The Consulting Psychologist is a full-time, on-site role based at Ali Bin Ali Hospital in Riyadh. The person in this role will conduct psychological assessments, provide individual and group counseling, and support patients experiencing a range of mental health concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with medical and nursing teams to integrate psychological care into overall treatment plans, documenting clinical findings, and maintaining accurate patient records. The Consulting Psychologist will participate in case discussions, contribute to multidisciplinary care plans, and provide guidance to staff on managing psychological and behavioral issues. This role may also involve developing patient education materials, supporting crisis intervention, and promoting mental health awareness within the hospital.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Psychology and Medicine, with the ability to integrate psychological care into medical settings.
- Demonstrated skills in Counseling and Mental Health support for diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency in Psychological Assessment, including diagnostic evaluations and standardized testing.
- Advanced degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (Master’s or Doctorate) from an accredited institution.
- Relevant licensure or eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Experience working in hospital or multidisciplinary clinical environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
