Job Summary
The Sponsorship Manager is responsible for developing, securing, and managing sponsorship opportunities that generate revenue and build long-term strategic partnerships. This role involves identifying potential sponsors, negotiating agreements, maintaining partner relationships, and ensuring sponsorship deliverables are successfully executed.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sponsorship strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and prospect new corporate sponsors and strategic partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors.
- Prepare sponsorship proposals, presentations, and customized partnership packages.
- Lead negotiations and finalize sponsorship agreements.
- Coordinate with marketing, events, and operations teams to ensure sponsor benefits are delivered.
- Monitor sponsorship performance and prepare ROI reports for partners.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new sponsorship opportunities.
- Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and industry meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, business development, or account management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
