About ACSC
ACSC is a Saudi construction company delivering residential, commercial, and multi-storey building projects. We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our Projects Department in Riyadh.
Job Purpose
The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract requirements, Saudi Building Code requirements, and ACSC quality standards.
The role will oversee site inspections, material approvals, testing, non-conformance management, quality reporting, and coordination with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams to reduce rework and improve project delivery quality.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management
- Implement ACSC's Quality Management System across assigned projects
- Prepare, update, and monitor the Project Quality Plan
- Prepare and review Method Statements in coordination with project and technical teams
- Prepare, review, and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contracts, and applicable Saudi Building Code requirements
- Monitor quality performance and submit regular reports to the Project Department Manager
Site Inspections and Quality Control
- Conduct daily inspections and quality walkthroughs across assigned project sites
- Verify that executed works comply with approved drawings, specifications, approved material submittals, and workmanship standards
- Raise, track, and follow up Inspection Requests
- Attend inspections with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders
- Monitor field and laboratory test results
- Ensure materials are approved before use on site
- Inspect structural, architectural, waterproofing, finishing, and MEP-related works
Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for non-compliant works or materials
- Follow up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Coordinate with site and subcontractor teams to close observations within approved timelines
- Identify recurring quality issues and recommend preventive measures
- Request rework or corrective action for works that fail to meet approved requirements
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports
- Maintain inspection records, quality logs, material approvals, test reports, technical submittals, and NCR registers
- Track inspection outcomes, consultant comments, and corrective-action closures
- Prepare quality KPI reports and management summaries
Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Technical Office, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and approved laboratories
- Ensure subcontractors comply with ACSC quality procedures and project requirements
- Support project teams in resolving quality issues before they affect project cost, programme, or handover
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture
- Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects
- Proven experience in villas, residential compounds, multi-storey residential buildings, or similar projects
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and relevant construction standards
- Practical experience in concrete, blockwork, waterproofing, finishing, and MEP inspections
- Experience dealing with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and testing laboratories
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is preferred
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is an added advantage
Technical Skills
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
- Experience preparing and reviewing ITPs and Method Statements
- Practical experience in NCR and CAPA management
- Knowledge of inspection procedures for structural, architectural, waterproofing, finishing, and MEP works
- Ability to review material submittals, test reports, and technical approvals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Strong working knowledge of Excel for quality reports and tracking logs
- Knowledge of material approval procedures, laboratory testing, and consultant inspection requirements
- Familiarity with ERP systems, including Odoo, is preferred

Language Proficiency
- Fluent Arabic communication skills
- Good English communication skills, including technical reporting and correspondence
Legal And Regulatory Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia
Methodologies and Frameworks
