Job Overview:
A leading company in the field of operations, maintenance, and marketing in Jeddah is seeking a Accountant to join its team. The role plays a key part in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and supporting financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage daily accounting operations and accurately record financial entries.
- Prepare, organize, and follow up on payment documents in line with approved procedures.
- Monitor revenue collection, documentation, and analysis.
- Prepare journal entries and record financial transactions in accounting systems.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare necessary adjustments.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and analyze financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance).
- Contribute to monthly and annual closing processes.
- Review invoices and payment requests to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support Zakat and tax compliance and ensure adherence to e-invoicing requirements.
- Analyze financial variances and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes.
- Monitor operational and capital expenditures and compare them with the approved budget.
- Coordinate with different departments to follow up on receivables and outstanding balances.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting.
Required Skills:
- Good command of the English language.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Hands-on experience with ERP accounting systems.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to prepare formal reports and correspondence.
