Job Summary:

Provide physiotherapy services to patients in their homes, focusing on assessing, diagnosing, and treating musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions to restore or improve patients' physical function, mobility, and quality of life. The role involves escalating any clinical concerns to the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) and maintaining accurate documentation, including attendance sheets. The physiotherapist must communicate promptly with the operations team when a patient's care needs to be renewed or discontinued.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities at their homes, including range of motion, strength, balance, and functional status.
• Performing diagnostic tests and interpreting medical history, imaging studies, and other relevant information to formulate an accurate diagnosis.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Apply various physiotherapy interventions, such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and electrotherapy, ensuring patient comfort and safety in a home setting.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies relevant to their home environment.
• Utilizing assistive devices and adaptive equipment as needed to facilitate mobility and independence.
• Administering rehabilitative exercises and activities to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance.
• Performing manual therapy techniques, including joint mobilization, soft tissue massage, and stretching, to reduce pain and improve mobility.
• Monitoring patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Assessing and managing pain using a variety of modalities, such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS).
• Educating patients on pain management strategies, including relaxation techniques, positioning, and ergonomic principles.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive pain management plans for patients with complex pain conditions and Escalate any clinical concerns to the MRP promptly and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Providing guidance on home exercises, activity modification, and lifestyle changes to support recovery and prevent recurrence.
• Addressing patients' questions and concerns, and empower them to actively participate in their rehabilitation process.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and detailed patient records, including attendance sheets and progress notes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and patient confidentiality regulations during home visits.
• Notify the operations team in timely manner if a patient's care plan requires renewal or discontinuation.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Education / Professional Qualifications:

• Education Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, or a related field.
• Years of Experience: Up to 2 years of experience within a related field.
