Key Responsibilities

• Performance Tuning: Monitor, analyze, and optimize database indexing and query execution speeds.
• Data Integrity & Backups: Design and enforce backup, restoration, and purging policies across SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• High Availability: Maintain clustering, mirroring, and replication to guarantee zero data loss across locations.
• ITSM Governance: Coordinate with the Service Manager via OpenText SMAX to align schema changes with project management boards.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of database administration in enterprise environments.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Database Administration, or related field.
• Certifications: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Oracle Certified Professional, or equivalent.
• Key Skills: Advanced SQL scripting, database clustering, performance troubleshooting, and ETL processes.
