We're hiring a Shift Production Engineer to run shift-level production, drive continuous improvement, and hold quality and KPI ownership on the factory floor.

Responsibilities

• Shift production targets, quality and safety standards
• LEAN activities, cell design and waste reduction
• New product introduction into manufacturing operations
• Production documentation and standard work instructions
• FMEA and Poka-Yoke implementation
• Plant start-up/shut-down planning and breakdown response
• Production budget input and KPI management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or Diploma)
• 10-12 years' experience as a Production Engineer
• Willingness to work shifts
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Working knowledge of SAP or NetSuite (advantage, not essential)
• Solid grasp of HSE and 5S standards
• Background in automotive or steel fabrication manufacturing
• Exposure to fabrication, assembly or plating processes
• Track record of running production shifts in a manufacturing environment
