DevOps Engineer - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are hiring on behalf of a new manufacturing joint venture in the renewable energy sector, backed by a well-established Saudi conglomerate and a leading global solar technology company. This is a greenfield opportunity - you will be joining at the foundation stage and playing a key role in building the IT infrastructure from scratch.

The Role

As DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating the cloud infrastructure that underpins the JV's manufacturing and business operations. You will own the CI/CD pipelines, manage Azure-based cloud environments, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the platform.

What You Will Be Doing

Designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure including AKS, networking, and security.

Building and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

Managing Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration using Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.

Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.

Setting up and maintaining observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and system reliability.

Implementing DevSecOps practices and ensuring platform security and compliance.

What We Are Looking For

8-12 years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience.

Strong Azure expertise - AKS, Azure DevOps, Terraform on Azure (non-negotiable).

Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch.

Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.

Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

IaC experience with Terraform and Ansible.

CKA or CKS certification is a strong advantage.

Any nationality welcome.

Must be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate.
