Job Purpose:

Monitor corporate financial performance in accordance with approved SATORP policies and procedures.

Scope:

Conduct analysis and evaluation of the Company's financial situation. Play an integral role in managing and updating the business model.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

1. Integrity of data: Responsible for the integrity of all financial data.
2. Budget / Business Plan: prepare and consolidates annual budgets and business plans in coordination with the Company’s organization heads and other finance departments
3. Reporting: prepare monthly reports to the management and the shareholders as well as quarterly reports and presentations to the board.
4. Improvements of processes: support continuous improvement in the process, policies and procedures, build effective and clear templates and presentations and improve tools and data management
5. Timing/Accuracy enables management rapid decision-making based on accurate financial information in a timely manner.
6. Analysis: provide detailed and relevant analysis for variable and fixed costs as well as CAPEX. Analyze departmental businesses to understand the deviations compared to plan and provide insight for improvement.
7. KPI: establish and monitor monthly KPl's for relevant SATORP activities and benchmark performance.
8. Control costs: challenge the business line on their submission and forecast to reduce costs.
9. Other: perform other related duties as assigned by Management Accounting Section Manager

Expected Results:

Effective analysis and presentation of budgets and management accounts/ financials within deadline. Financial performance is continuously monitored. Appropriate financial analysis and cost accounting functions are properly performed and accurate plans, budget and forecasts are timely prepared. Operation units have a clear framework to report and plan.

Main Competencies and Qualities:

• Strong ability to analyze financial data and prepare relevant reports.

• Good knowledge in KPI setting and progress monitoring.

• Good knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.

• Good knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.

• Conversant with cost and management accounting techniques

• Conversant with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong attention to details and commitment to deadline.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Strong command of oral and written Arabic

• Strong command of oral and written English

Education Background:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent. MBA or CPA is preferred.

Experience:

Eight (8) years of related experience, of which at least Five (5) years in an industrial environment.
