About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team at Dormont Manufacturing Co. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and ensuring operational efficiency. Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for analyzing current manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement. They will develop and implement new manufacturing methods to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. The role involves designing and optimizing tooling, fixtures, and production layouts, as well as troubleshooting production issues to minimize downtime. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Additionally, they will participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing reports for management to track progress and identify opportunities for further optimization will also be part of the responsibilities.
