US:

3.1 Explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients, answering their questions, and providing support.

3.2 Programming and adjusting the scanner for the specific procedure and ensuring the transducer captures images from every angle or section as needed.

3.3 Deciding which still images, or sonograms, to capture and present to the Physician for diagnostic purposes.

3.4 Evaluating the images for quality and interpreting the images to assist the Physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases.

3.5 Presenting the images and your preliminary findings to the Physicians.

3.6 Maintaining patients' records and medical notes on the ultrasound procedure they have undergone.

3.7 Maintaining the ultrasound equipment and sterilizing the procedure rooms.

3.8 Competent to handle technical questions and inquiries and provide regular performance reports.

3.9 Must maintain the integrity and privacy of all patient information and must not disclose any information to any party. Such an act will lead to a financial penalty as well as the termination of the contract.

3.10 Adhere to Company’s policies, procedures, and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

3.11 Committed/devoted to scheduled duty hours. (8 consecutive hours.)

3.12 Efficient and accurate coordination with a multi-disciplinary team.

3.13 Must report to the Radiology Administration immediately in case of any emergency, sickness, or absence.

3.14 Adhering to the internationally recognized Joint Commission International (JCI) guidelines and CBAHI (local credentialing)
