Job Purpose

Responsible for directing data center systems activities, ensuring alignment of technical requirements, system integration, and overall solution performance across projects, while coordinating with design, engineering, and execution teams to deliver compliant and optimized solutions.

Key Accountability Areas

Systems Integration & Alignment:

• Direct alignment of data center systems with overall project requirements, ensuring proper integration across all technical components.
• Oversee consistency between system requirements and design outputs.

Technical Coordination & Governance:

• Drive coordination between design, engineering, and project teams to ensure alignment of system requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure technical requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and implemented across all project stages.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Drive technical discussions with customers to align on system requirements, performance expectations, and compliance standards.
• Ensure customer feedback is reflected in system-level decisions and deliverables.

System Implementation Oversight:

• Oversee implementation of data center systems to ensure alignment with defined requirements and integration needs.
• Ensure coordination between system requirements and execution teams during project delivery.

Issue Resolution & Performance Assurance:

• Direct resolution of system-level issues during engineering, production, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure system performance meets defined technical and operational requirements.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Oversee preparation and control of system-related documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.
• Ensure traceability and consistency of system data across project lifecycle.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

• Direct coordination with procurement, production, and testing teams to ensure system requirements are fully supported.
• Ensure alignment between system needs and resource planning.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

• Drive improvement initiatives based on project feedback, system performance, and operational insights.
• Ensure adoption of improved technologies and practices to enhance system capability and efficiency.

• Provide periodic work progress reports.
• Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.

Organizational Development:

• Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
• Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.

Business Process Improvements:

• Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
• Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
• Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.
