Role Description The Technical Mechanical Engineer role at Spacemaker KSA is a full-time, on-site position based in Dammam and is open to Saudi nationals only. The role involves overseeing mechanical systems and equipment used in modular and offsite construction, including design review, technical analysis, and implementation support. The engineer will plan and supervise maintenance activities, perform diagnostics on mechanical equipment, and coordinate with production and project teams to ensure reliability and safety. Daily tasks include preparing technical reports, optimizing maintenance procedures, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and internal policies. The role also requires participation in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, minimize downtime, and support efficient manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

-Strong experience in preparing and reviewing technical documentation for mechanical works.

-Proficiency in developing Method Statements (MS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality control documentation in accordance with project specifications and client requirements.

-Experience in preparing, submitting, and tracking Material Submittals, Technical Submittals, RFIs, and shop drawing submissions.

-Ability to review project specifications, IFC drawings, standards, and ensure documentation compliance with contract requirements.

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

-Knowledge of mechanical systems, construction practices, applicable codes, and quality management procedures.

-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering standards.

-Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with engineering, QA/QC, procurement, and site teams.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, PDF editing tools, document control systems, and engineering documentation software.

• Previous experience in industrial, infrastructure, or modular construction projects in Saudi Arabia, with a primary focus on engineering documentation, quality documentation, and technical submittals.
