Job Description:

The Network Security Senior Manager will be pivotal in leading a strategic approach to network security within the organization. This role demands a highly analytical and results-driven professional who can manage complex security infrastructures while developing and promoting robust security policies, procedures, and protocols. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of advanced security architectures, performance metrics, and compliance frameworks. They will lead cross-functional teams in the identification and mitigation of network vulnerabilities while maintaining an up-to-date understanding of emerging threats and trends. As an executive leader, the individual will engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment with organizational goals, articulate security strategies, and enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years of cumulative experience in network security management, demonstrating progressive responsibility and expertise in developing and leading security programs.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale network security projects with the ability to articulate both technical and business implications of security risks.
• Extensive knowledge of security frameworks, compliance protocols (such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS), and regulatory requirements relevant to the organization's industry.
• Strong experience in threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and incident response processes, supported by relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to influence and inspire cross-functional teams towards achieving network security objectives.
• Proficiency in risk management principles, including the ability to assess business impact and propose appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
• Strong communication skills, with a history of presenting technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and data loss prevention solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s network security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Oversee the design and deployment of secure network architectures to protect organizational assets and data integrity.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to identify potential vulnerabilities, assess risk exposure, and prioritize remediation efforts.
• Develop, manage, and continuously evaluate the performance of the organization’s network security measures and reporting on security posture and compliance metrics.
• Facilitate regular security training and awareness programs for all employees, fostering a culture of security mindfulness across the organization.
• Act as the primary incident responder, coordinating all aspects of response to network security incidents and leading post-incident reviews.
• Liaise with external vendors, partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and industry trends, consistently integrating this knowledge into security strategy and policy revisions.
